Brand Strategy, marketing, and outreach for a nanotech startup
Launched by a visionary team out of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology – N12’s breakthrough materials technology advances the high-tech aerospace, automotive, and consumer goods markets. Their vertically-aligned carbon nanotubes make carbon-fiber products, from airplanes to tennis rackets, tougher and lighter.
Design Alliance accelerated this nano-tech brand with a new identity design and the tagline: Making the Best Better. We designed the N12 website, branded brochures, and explanatory videos that convey the benefits of their cutting-edge technology.
We designed 2,700 square feet of custom exhibits introducing the N12 brand to more than 150,000 attendees at trade shows in Europe and the US – including a 1,200-square foot exhibit for the JEC World Expo in Paris.
Our work helped N12 raise more than $23 million in Venture Capital, increase brand recognition, establish a market for their signature product: NanoStitch – and ultimately, helped successfully sell the firm in 2020 to NAWA Technologies.
