WATERSEER
It began with a question that sounded impossible: Could the air itself become a source of clean water?
From that question came WaterSeer, a bold vision to give every community on Earth the ability to pull safe, drinkable water directly from the atmosphere.
The science was solid. The stakes were enormous. If the story failed to inspire belief, the technology might never make it past the prototype.
Working with WaterSeer, UC Berkeley’s Sutardja Center for Entrepreneurship & Technology, and the National Peace Corps Association, we set out to transform skepticism into conviction. The campaign we created: ‘Pure and Simple,” was designed to make the invisible visible, showing how water could literally come from thin air.
It worked. The campaign went viral, garnering 58 million views and exceeding its original funding goal by over 400%. TIME, The Guardian, and Popular Science discovered the story organically and shared it with the world.
Momentum turned into movement. Our visibility campaign reached investors, municipalities, and citizens alike, while our design and visualization work accelerated the path from concept to product.
WaterSeer went on to be named Emerging Technology of the Year by the National Capital Region Chamber of Commerce.
Because sometimes the world doesn’t need a miracle, just a clear vision, powerfully told. And when that vision is as pure and essential as water itself, the story can change everything.
